Venue Hire


The beautiful Townhill Park House and gardens make a superb setting for weddings and functions.

The following facilities may be hired during the School Holidays:

  • The walnut-panelled Main Hall (originally Lord Swaythling’s Music Room)
  • Reception Hall
  • Boudoir Room
  • Kitchen and/or Kitchenette
  • 23 acres of beautiful parkland housing the historic Grade II Listed Gertrude Jekyll gardens

The Main Hall seats up to 120 people for a formal meal or, if not formally seated, up to 200 people.

Terms and Conditions of Hire

The hire charge is available on request. A deposit will be required when making a booking. The deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the successful completion of the function, assuming full compliance with the terms and conditions of hire.

Functions cancelled within 6 months of the booking confirmation letter will be entitled to a 50% refund of the deposit. Thereafter, the full deposit will be forfeited. The Bursar or the Headteacher must be notified promptly of any damage caused to the premises and/or property of The Gregg Schools Trust.
